A woman’s body was found in a parking area early May 2 in Donelson.

According to Metro Nashville police, someone drove by the small parking area on Pennington Bend Road and told police they saw a woman lying under the Briley Parkway overpass near Music Valley Drive.

Police continued to investigate a cause of death for the unidentified woman. They said she is white, in her 30s and had bruising on her face.

According to police, some identifying features were two tattoos – one on her lower back of a yin-yang symbol and another of an hourglass with the name Pamela on her left forearm.

The woman did not have any identification with her, and investigators did not find a cellphone.

Police sent the body to the state medical examiner’s office to identify the woman and her cause of death.

Anyone who may know any information that could help determine the woman’s identity is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. The call can be anonymous, and an award is possible.
